Proposal
Transforming an industrial site [Bamberton Cement Plant and Quarry]
repurposing it for safe habitation as sustainable development within the traditional territories of the Saanich, Malahat and Cowichan First Nations.
The Bamberton Town Development Project (concept by David Butterfield) in consultation with First Nation Cultural Heritage was able to proceed with construction under First Nations Management.
