"John Taylor’s Postcards explore a variety of ideas with such freedom and invention that the viewer must become detached from photographic preconception. Taylor has chosen to remember one colour scheme of an object in much the same way that memory selects the outstanding feature of a scene. He has manipulated the size of the image to bring the viewer closer to his intimate communication."
